MADINAH: Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman on Tuesday honored the winners of a school-level regional competition.
The governor congratulated the winning male and female students and wished them success in their future endeavors.
Nasser Al-Abdulkarim, director of Madinah Education, said “My School Digital Competition” included three areas: Education, information and education and training.
He said the aim of the competition is to promote education, encourage the trend of online learning, distance education and enrich digital content to enhance the learning experience of the Saudi students.
The education official said such events seek to enhance community participation in the education process and boost professional skills.
He said the authorities are taking measures to instill positive values in students and create an environment conducive to learning.
The official also highlighted the importance of distant learning and online education in today’s world.
He stressed the need to invest in modern technology and help students acquire digital skills.
